Gas Booster Pumps

LITE 2DGD Series Dual-Drive Gas Booster Pumps

2DGD uses a double-acting, dual-drive-cylinder design to further boost pre-pressurized process gas. Select the gas and operating point for transfer, filling or leak-test gas supply systems.

Pressure Range
Maximum outlet pressure 8–48 MPa, depending on model
Test Medium
Process gas; gas-contact components matched to the actual medium

Overview

Equipment purpose and configuration

LITE provides pump selection, configuration and supply services for this product. The model and scope of supply are confirmed in the order.

2DGD further boosts process gas supplied at a positive inlet pressure. It can be selected for transfer, filling and leak-test gas supply systems according to the gas and operating point.

The series has a double-acting, dual-drive-cylinder design with four models offering boost ratios from 10:1 to 60:1. Inlet ranges, maximum outlet pressures and connections differ by model.

Provide the gas type, minimum and maximum inlet pressure, drive-air supply conditions, target outlet pressure and flow at that pressure, together with continuous or intermittent duty. Match gas-contact parts to the medium and stay within the permitted pressure of the model and every system component.

Features

  • Double-acting, dual-drive-cylinder design
  • 4 models with boost ratios from 10:1 to 60:1
  • Model-specific inlet and outlet connections

Optional Configurations

  • Confirm the need and supply scope for the pump, mounting, valves, instruments, air storage and controls for the project.

Provide the gas type, inlet pressure PA, drive-air pressure PL, target outlet pressure PB, flow at that pressure, and continuous or intermittent duty requirements.

Confirm gas compatibility and gas-contact components for the actual medium. Working pressure must not exceed the permitted pressure of the model or any system component.

Selection FAQ

Common Questions

RFQ Details

Include your available drive conditions and connection sizes so we can check the installation and drive air requirements.

What is the 2DGD design?

It uses a double-acting, dual-drive-cylinder design. Four models offer boost ratios from 10:1 to 60:1; select the inlet range, maximum outlet pressure and connections by model.

What operating data is needed for selection?

Provide gas type, minimum and maximum inlet pressures, drive-air supply conditions, target outlet pressure, flow at that pressure and continuous or intermittent duty. Include flow units and reference conditions.

How is flow at the target pressure checked?

Check inlet conditions, drive conditions and target outlet pressure as one operating point, together with the duty cycle. Boost ratio or maximum outlet pressure alone does not define flow at that point.

Does this page describe a pump or a complete system?

This page describes the pump and model selection. Confirm the need and supply scope for mounting, valves, instruments, air storage and controls separately for the project.
