Gas Booster Pumps

LITE LTA Series Gas Booster Pumps

LTA uses a single-acting design with air-operated reversal for reciprocating gas boosting. Select a model for gas pressure build-up and pressure-holding systems using the gas type, inlet pressure and flow at the target pressure.

Pressure Range
Maximum outlet pressure 1.6–80 MPa, depending on model
Test Medium
Process gas; gas-contact components matched to the actual medium
Driven Type / Power Source
Maximum design 1.0 MPa; no more than 0.8 MPa recommended for long-term operation

Overview

Equipment purpose and configuration

LITE provides pump selection, configuration and supply services for this product. The model and scope of supply are confirmed in the order.

LTA supplies gas pressure build-up and pressure-holding systems through compressed-air-driven reciprocating boosting. Select a model using the gas type, inlet supply conditions and target operating point.

The series has a single-acting design, air-operated reversal, a 160 mm drive piston and an exhaust-cooled pump head. Eight models offer boost ratios from 2:1 to 100:1, with model-specific connections and pressure limits.

The tabulated pressure relation supports selection checks: PL is drive-air pressure, PA is gas inlet pressure and PB is outlet pressure, all in the same unit. Operation must satisfy the inlet range and listed maximum outlet pressure. Also provide flow at the target pressure and continuous or intermittent duty requirements.

Features

  • 8 models with boost ratios from 2:1 to 100:1
  • 160 mm drive piston
  • Exhaust-cooled pump head

Optional Configurations

  • Confirm the need and supply scope for the pump, mounting, valves, instruments, air storage and controls for the project.

Maximum design drive-air pressure is 1.0 MPa; no more than 0.8 MPa is recommended for long-term operation.

PL is drive-air pressure, PA is gas inlet pressure and PB is outlet pressure. Use the same pressure unit for all three. The pressure relation is for selection checks; operation must not exceed the listed maximum outlet pressure.

Provide the gas type, inlet pressure PA, drive-air pressure PL, target outlet pressure PB, flow at that pressure, and continuous or intermittent duty requirements.

Selection FAQ

Common Questions

RFQ Details

Include your available drive conditions and connection sizes so we can check the installation and drive air requirements.

How should the pressure relation be used?

PB = boost ratio × PL is used for selection checks. PL is drive-air pressure, PA is inlet pressure and PB is outlet pressure, all in the same unit. Operation must satisfy the inlet range and stay within the listed model maximum outlet pressure.

What operating data is needed for selection?

Provide gas type, minimum and maximum inlet pressures, drive-air supply conditions, target outlet pressure, flow at that pressure and continuous or intermittent duty. Include flow units and reference conditions.

How is flow at the target pressure checked?

Check inlet conditions, drive conditions and target outlet pressure as one operating point, together with the duty cycle. Boost ratio or maximum outlet pressure alone does not define flow at that point.

Does this page describe a pump or a complete system?

This page describes the pump and model selection. Confirm the need and supply scope for mounting, valves, instruments, air storage and controls separately for the project.
