Gas Booster Pumps

LITE LTD Series Gas Booster Pumps

LTD uses a single-stage, dual-head design for boosting gas supplied at a positive inlet pressure. Its pressure relation includes inlet pressure, so gas supply and drive-air conditions must be checked together.

Pressure Range
Maximum outlet pressure 8–140 MPa, depending on model
Test Medium
Process gas; gas-contact components matched to the actual medium
Driven Type / Power Source
No more than 0.8 MPa recommended

Overview

Equipment purpose and configuration

LITE provides pump selection, configuration and supply services for this product. The model and scope of supply are confirmed in the order.

LTD boosts gas supplied at a positive inlet pressure. Select the model using the inlet conditions, target outlet pressure and required flow at that pressure.

The series uses a single-stage, dual-head design and a 160 mm drive piston, with exhaust cooling at both pump heads. Six models offer boost ratios from 10:1 to 200:1; twin inlet and outlet piping is matched to the duty.

The tabulated pressure relation includes inlet pressure: PL is drive-air pressure, PA is gas inlet pressure and PB is outlet pressure, all in the same unit. Actual working pressure must satisfy the inlet range, pressure relation and model maximum outlet pressure. The formula does not permit exceeding the listed limit.

Features

  • 6 models with boost ratios from 10:1 to 200:1
  • 160 mm drive piston with exhaust cooling at both pump heads
  • Twin inlet and outlet piping selected for the operating conditions

Optional Configurations

  • Confirm the need and supply scope for the pump, mounting, valves, instruments, air storage and controls for the project.

A drive-air pressure of no more than 0.8 MPa is recommended.

PL is drive-air pressure, PA is gas inlet pressure and PB is outlet pressure. Use the same pressure unit for all three. Actual working pressure must satisfy the inlet conditions, pressure relation and listed maximum outlet pressure.

Provide the gas type, inlet pressure PA, drive-air pressure PL, target outlet pressure PB, flow at that pressure, and continuous or intermittent duty requirements.

Selection FAQ

Common Questions

RFQ Details

Include your available drive conditions and connection sizes so we can check the installation and drive air requirements.

How should the pressure relation be used?

PB = boost ratio × PL + PA is used for selection checks. PL is drive-air pressure, PA is inlet pressure and PB is outlet pressure, all in the same unit. Operation must satisfy the inlet range and stay within the listed model maximum outlet pressure.

What operating data is needed for selection?

Provide gas type, minimum and maximum inlet pressures, drive-air supply conditions, target outlet pressure, flow at that pressure and continuous or intermittent duty. Include flow units and reference conditions.

How is flow at the target pressure checked?

Check inlet conditions, drive conditions and target outlet pressure as one operating point, together with the duty cycle. Boost ratio or maximum outlet pressure alone does not define flow at that point.

Does this page describe a pump or a complete system?

This page describes the pump and model selection. Confirm the need and supply scope for mounting, valves, instruments, air storage and controls separately for the project.
